How Trust Affects Social Relationships
Teck-Hua Hohas, with Haas School of Business, School of California, Berkeley, California, and Keith Weigelt, together with the Wharton University, University of Pennsylvania, Phila., Pennsylvania carried out a laboratory investigation titled Trust Building Among Other people, (MANAGEMENT SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH, Vol. 51, No . 4, April june 2006, pp. 519вЂ“530, issn 0025-1909 eissn 1526-5501 05 5104 0519). The article directly relates to the experience of functioning within a recently established learning team, and establishing trust among associates. The clinical based research was structured in the form of a multistage video game entitled: The Trust Building Game (Ho & Weigelt, 2005), although the players were required to opportunity to obtain social gains only if players trust the other person in every stage, without knowing the identity of the other players. The theory with the game вЂassumes all players are opportunistic and untrustworthy and thus ought to zero trust for others' (Ho & Weigelt, 2005). Trust Building Game (Ho & Weigelt, 2005) investigates how the intentions of those who trust others affect reliability, if folks are trusting or trustworthiness, plus the evolution of trust.
